Re: “Blogger updates DWI, drug cases against Asa Hutchinson III

Razorblade, you need to switch to 3.00 readers. Hutchinson was adjudicated guilty for his 3rd Arkansas DWI offense, that is what he is appealing but has no chance at winning. Deathbyinches, the pretrial diversion means he paid a fine and got the heck out of Alabama. The age for that program tops out at 25, he was 41 when he was handed that deal.

Re: “John Walker rejects city apology for arrest during filming of police

The City of Little Rock better get its checkbook out. When the same thing happened to Walker in Crime Bluff he pocketed a nice settlement. Can't wait to see the video from the police cars. Ole Erma will be raising hell at the city board meetings and be bringing that residency requirement back for a vote sure as a shooting will happen in the next 24 hours in the City of Roses, errr... The Rock. Hope the lawsuit lands on Judge Griffen's docket. That would be entertaining for sure.

Re: “The Conway police report on Gilbert Baker's DWI arrest

Baker was a dick when he came to UCA as a graduate assistant/percussion instructor. After watching the video of him being booked at the Conway Police Department he is still a dick. Perplexed- the intense pressure is that he will most likely be serving time for being a bagman for his friend Maggio.

Re: “Bus company wins $1.6 million federal grant

With an average of 6 riders per bus at any given time it is the most expensive ride in town.

Re: “Tuesday's open line and daily news report

Not only are toddlers fond of gunplay, so are dogs. In the past 5 years 6 people have been shot by a dog. The most recent shooter was a lab name "Trigger". https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2015/10/27/a-dog-shoots-a-person-almost-every-year-in-america/

Re: “IHOP coming down, but .....

Yet another loss of a historic City of Roses (I can't use the new city nickname in deference to Dewayne Johnson) structure to progress. My favorite memory of that dump is from high school back in 1976. A bunch of us rowdy First UMC youth dropped in one evening to partake of some refreshing pancakes and saw a stretch limo parked in front. Who was at IHOP in a stretch limo you ask? None other than the 5th Dimension! Alas, this was after the departure of McCoo and Davis but Ron Townson was easily recognizable. Being inquisitive as to why these masters of Champagne Soul would be in Little Rock, much less IHOP, I went over to their table and asked them. Davis was very friendly (probably excited that a group of young white boys knew who they were) and told me they were on their way to Hot Springs to perform at the Vapors. I asked if I could have their autographs and they happily obliged. I always felt this was the best spot to grab breakfast after getting run out of Midtown Billards when they closed down for the morning. Thanks for the memories old IHOP building.
