Re: “Big Dam Bridge 100 brings big damn complaint about celebrity rider Hincapie

The author of this complaint needs to get over himself and stop stirring the pot for no reason. George Hincapie is a celebrity in the biking world; this makes me much more interested in the race than before.

Re: “Arkansas Times readers pick best restaurants

If you haven't made the drive to Benton, you should really check out Eat My Catfish. Best catfish in the state, no doubt. The boiled shrimp is a must have, too.

Re: “Arkansas AP scores move up

Mr. Viper,
The press release attributes much of the rise in AP scores to the AAIMS grant. Central High School is not an AAIMS school. As noted above, these school are spread throughout Arkansas (Magnolia, Greene County Tech, Greenbrier, Mills and Parkview locally, plus the others). If you would stop to consider that these scores reflect the progress of a wide range of students - urban and rural, minority or not - then you might also appreciate the hard work of these teachers and students.

Why not admit that something might actually be working?
