Let's not be too quick to judge. Unless you were there and a close observer, you don't know what happened, and I'm sure that the child's family must be distraught. If parents and grandparents are to be arrested for child endangerment every time they make an error of judgement or simply don't move fast enough, we'll all be in jail. I don't understand why people are so quick to throw the first stone.

I would love to see an investigation of the Arkansas Electric Cooperative group which, last time I checked, pays its CEO more than the President of the U.S. makes, and which uses rate-payer money to shamelessly promote coal, including a full-page ad on the back their magazine last month asking members (as if there was a choice) to contact the EPA in favor of coal. They have also taken legislators to Wyoming to see the coal fields. Why do execs there have such an interest in coal, one wonders? It smells to high heaven.
