I think that justifying this cop's action is wrong on so many levels. I work in customer service and I get paid to deal with angry people on a daily basis, I know it's part of the job and I do it because that's just a small part of my job. This officer needs to understand that angry citizens will come with the job and if he can't handle that, he needs to look for a new job. This citizen had his right to not state his name (although I think he should have done so to de-escalate the situation) becaus he was not being harmed with a crime. The officer lied in a police report, it clearly shows on the video that Chardrick Mitchell was not being detained so he had a right to walk away if he pleased. This man got tasered for no reason and this officer needs to be charged with at least falsifying an official report.
