Re: “LR doctors indicted for health-care fraud”
I have read all the comments here from Dr. Barrow's friends and patients. I don't think the feds are going after a doctor without complete evidence as you know Dr. Robert Barrow is an attorney and he knows right from wrong. I can understand that money monger insurance companies pay pennies on the dollar for medical claims but this is the American medical system today. The patient did not create the problem, but the hospitals and clinics and doctors did with their out of this world fees. Corporations and insurance companies have to answer to their shareholders with profit. If the Barrows are innocent then they should be able to prove it in court right? Dr. Barrows understands the medical and legal systems because he is a doctor and a lawyer. You can't lay blame on the patients as they have nothing do with the medical billing other than if the insurance company refuses to pay the doctor's bill the patient better come up with the cash or be turned over to collections.
