Re: “National Merit semi-finalists announced in Arkansas

Not a single charter school except Haas Hall in Fayetteville produced a single Merit Semifinalist? Very interesting.

Re: “Inconvenient facts about Little Rock middle schools

LittleRockR: Little Rock's CTA (Classroom Teachers' Assiciation) has negotiation rights with the LRSD; hence, a union. WalMart management regard this as very dangerous. They hate & fear unions.

Re: “Sen. Hutchinson, partners have plan for private club in Packet House

Why not call it the Carpetbagger Club? It's snappy and would honor the state's first Carpetbagger senator, a Republican whose portrait Mr Hutchinson says will grace a wall inside the entrance

Re: “Little Rock Central leads National Merit semi-finalists

I didn't think Norma's comment sounded angry, just forceful.

Re: “More injustice for Tim Howard

I don't know Patrick Benca, but if I'm ever in trouble unjustly, I want a bulldog like him as my attorney.

Re: “Ten to watch at the 2015 Little Rock Film Festival

Sorry you missed the superb "Holbrook/Twain, An American Odyssey," which after 3 days is in a class unto itself. Loved your quirky cover film "Uncertain." "Krisha" is intense, with a revelation in the closing credits that will have you wanting to talk about it over the drink you'll probably want afterwards.
