Re: “New fiber analysis results in WM3 case

These bodies had been floating in a nasty old ditch --any fiber evidence should be thrown out, period

Re: “Where to put the Tech Park

Dear DA's Before this story was written a qualified, thoughful and intelligent reporter would have noted thst aside from crappy old buildings without the areas to allow for parking and greenspace, several of the sites are smack dab in floodplain/floodway areas, much the same as the much-belittled NLR Bass Pro Shop site.

Starting to see you get your stories from second hand loud mouths.

Re: “Mayors favor renovating Broadway Bridge

Mayor Hayes- If you need to worry about spending money the City does not, how about starting a discussion of replacing the Main St viaduct?? Already the "rehabilitation" has failed, much like what would happen to the Broadway Bridge--BECAUSE YOU HAVE SPENT THE MONEY ON ANOTHER TRAIL IN ONE OF THE WORST SAFETY AREAS OF TOWN. Our streets are in pitiful shape and have been for some time. The medians on McCain are in terrible shape and can just imagine what other parts of town look like. The Main St. viaduct needs replacement, but you have focused on bike trails. We badly need leadership and it has not been you for a LONG time. You say another leaky boat will be paid for with all private donations. Frankly, since so much City money has gone down this bilge hole, do not believe you or any of the present administration.

Note to mayor candidates. This is what everyone is talking about, other than the stupid idea to put a parking lot at the corner of 22nd and Main in the Ole Main re-do, removing part of the historic front lawn.

Re: “Jim Lynch says no to Little Rock's bond vote 9/11

Tell the truth ALL of you Lynch, etc. this is the same millage you,ve been paying for decades...it's already been refinanced several times. The City has received many capital improvements from it.....Mr. Brantley do a FYI for all the projects since the 70's. and a fair representation. You all are all happy when you get your little pet bike and etc projects done, so FTFU and tell the truth. People need very expensive street and drain projects done that have festered for years.

Re: “Emergency transport lacking after fight that proved fatal

wait a minute was there not something passed that we are ALL paying for to provide "Trauma Care" in these rural areas? Did I dream that? At the time, as usual, the thought came to me to ask why, again, are core urban areas substidizing white flight areas. IF you want facilities like the urban areas, be they schools, fire, police or ambulance, you need to be willing to pay to live in Podunk away from those nasty people.

Re: “The hole in LR's bike path

since when did a small minority of rude and smelly wet crotches in spandex rule justify so much money...especially in these times?????
