Re: “

Steve if you are the innocent party in the brake up of your marriage, then stand tall and don’t listen to the cries for you to step down. The people elected you. However if you aren’t the innocent party and cheated on your wife? It still isn’t right for either to be dating before the divorce is final.
Sallyjo this dosen’t sound like a infamous crime to me but what do I know I am a Republican and a Conservative one at that.

Re: “Partisanship arrives in Arkansas

to Elwood: I was on the stand in 1983 and testified under oath. You are welcome to read the entire case. At no time did I receive any public monies or embezzle any money. If you read the statute under which I pled guilty, it deals with undue influence between pharmacists and doctors. I am neither. This case was a misdemeanor without a fine and if that makes me ineligible to serve, then so be it. I can even take the name calling. I have served as a JP and introduced an ordinance to outlaw K2, making our county to be the first county to ban this substance. I'm proud of my public service. One other point: whether I purposely or inadvertently broke a law in 1984, I am NOT the same person as I was in 1984. I think that this experience actually made me uniquely qualified to serve in the legislature and as a public servant. We learn from experiences. I will continue to work for the betterment of the state of AR and of the community in which I live. God bless.
