Re your about that, the easiest compilation regarding Jefferson; I refer you to The Jefferson Lies by David Barton Lie #3, 18 pages that refute the statement regarding Jefferson editing or creating his own bible. Much more thorough than the Oxford Islamic studies. There is no Jefferson Bible and produced no "bible" eliminating miracles from the bible. I challenge you to produce one. It also details what he did do with the bible and other compilations for other groups. You may dispute David Barton because of his Christian perspective while accepting the at least equally biased Islamic studies but his vast library of documents is certainly credible. So, while Jefferson may have studied the Quran, it was the Bible that guided our Founding Fathers.
