Re: “Concrete gulch hearing this week

I'm so horrified that all the evidence EVERYONE has put forward proving that this Split Diamond won't work has simply been disregarded by both Mayor's.
Are they just stuck with 50's thinking that the people of Little Rock will have a mega freeway to be proud of?
Is it the concept that they get to help spend $650,000,000 for the betterment of the city?
Is it that they know there is no point fighting the Highways Department so picked a design that is the lesser of all the evils?
Or are they just friken evil old men?

Re: “Arkansas's new anti-gay law forgets history

I must have visited my husband (quite recent) in Little Rock 7 times now. I've always had such a warm welcome and truly enjoyed the people I've met. I think Arkansas is brilliant and I come back to Scotland raving about what a great time I had and how I'm so looking forward to immigrating later this year.

I believe in Arkansas, it has so much potential!

It's embarrassing to tell my friends over here in Europe about this matter and I get asked why I would move to such a backward state :( I can well imagine business leaders thinking the same thing!

I will move over there. I will work, I will become an active member of the community. I will make Little Rock a better city than when I found it. I can forgive the people that made this law. I hope I can meet them some day to show them having gay friends is great. I hope they can forgive me when this law gets binned.

Arkansas, your better than this.
