Re: “The Thou Shalt Not open line

We are deep into the age of Drumpf & the ill effects his vile spoutings are inflicting on this nation. Talk about using kids as props.

"Moms took children to a mosque and live-streamed their hate-filled tirade"

"Two women were arrested Thursday after allegedly stealing items from a mosque and broadcasting the whole episode on Facebook Live, police say. In the videos, the women, with three children in tow, can be heard unleashing a steady stream of invective against Muslims.

In the videos, the two women can be seen bringing the children to the Islamic Community Center of Tempe and narrating what they describe as their attempts to expose "Sharia law in America" and "the illegal invasion of Muslims."

They can be seen picking up pamphlets and literature from outdoor stands as they walk the property of the mosque, even encouraging their dog to urinate on the property.

"The Muslims are nothing but devil, Satan worshipers," one of the women says at the mosque, pointing at flyers on a community message board at the mosque.

At least one of the children seems to take the message to heart. "They smell like goat," the child can be heard saying. "Exactly! They smell like goat," Gonzales responds. "Mommy, they buy their chicken to rape it," the child says.

Arizona Senate candidate Deedra Abboud posted a video of a separate incident to Facebook on Wednesday that she says also involved Gonzales.

"Deedra Abboud supports Muslims who hate America!" a woman, who Abboud identifies as Gonzales, can be heard belligerently screaming at the candidate in the clip. Abboud is Muslim and wears a hijab.

"Deedra Abboud, you aren't going to make it. God is going to strike her down!"
A woman with a child who is standing with Abboud tells the screaming woman to go away. She continues screaming, and her child joins in. The other child begins to cry and clutches her mother."

Re: “Jefferson County suit filed to end dual election commission service by Stu Soffer

"I do hear in him a passion for improving government in his county."

One thing is for sure, if he were the County Judge, Quorum Court meetings would be exciting.

Who knows, he might just be able to cleanout the deadheads.

Re: “Jefferson County suit filed to end dual election commission service by Stu Soffer

"Nothing is simple in Jefferson County."

The 74 other counties in this state can breathe a sigh of relief & say "thank the lawd for Jefferson county!"

Judge Wilkins hasn't exactly covered himself in glory, he probably does need to go. Question is, who will replace him?

It's probably a good idea to have an R election commissioner, given the D majority in the rest of county government.

Whether or not Mr Soffer should be the county judge is another matter, but it might make for interesting reading in the paper.

Re: “The Thou Shalt Not open line

I'd be all for Bro' Rapert's monument of folly if every, shoot, make that 60%, of the members of the legislature would obey it's strictures for one, straight 72 hour period during the session.

No way they could do it. Not sure that many could avoid outright criminality for 72 hours.

Re: “Greenbrier's paddling of student protester goes worldwide

"how many shoes would be on the lawn for kids and people killed by kids texting and driving?"

Yup. Which is why laws are passed to make driving & texting or calling (for everyone) a ticketable offence. Wow, regulating the use of a thing to lower the chances of injury or death. Now if we could just do the same with firearms. Naw!

"The kids' protest against violence was met with violence......"

Indeed. Many the so-called "violent" protest only became violent AFTER the cops started swinging clubs.

Not uncommon for about a half dozen or so of "our finest" to dogpile a protester for the outrageous act of exercising their rights, after which the poor fellow is charged with with assaulting the cops!

Re: “Greenbrier's paddling of student protester goes worldwide

"should be smart enough to delineate the difference between corporal punishment and physical abuse. "

Of course! The latter has never, EVER resulted in the former. Plus, the object lesson of the beating, that violence is the quick & easy answer to everything, leaves the recipient to go forth in peace & understanding.

Given the recent display of 7000 pairs of childrens shoes on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol, each representing a child murdered. I'd say that the lesson has been well learned in America, the mass-shooting capitol of the planet.

Re: “Greenbrier's paddling of student protester goes worldwide

Ignorant, religion-soaked adults use physical violence against kids in order to "teach them a lesson".

Kid shoots-up school in orgy of physical violence in order to "teach them a lesson"

Hey, beatings DO work!
