Re: “Do a good deed: Buy some Girl Scout cookies

So all this time I've been feeding my cracklike addiction for Thin Mints, I've really been rallying against RightWingNutJobs? Kewl.

Re: “The 3 Best: Pancakes

"Until" it becomes socially acceptable to eat actual cake for breakfast??? I don't know where you went to college, but I've been pairing cake and pizza for breakfast since the 70s!

Re: “Mount St. Mary principal responds on firing of gay teacher for marrying

I feel sorry for Ms. Wolfe's children and grandchildren. Marriage equality is becoming the norm in this country and the educated world, as the only reason for opposing it on morality grounds -- the Bible proscription -- is more and more discarded. Ms. Wolfe's descendants face the unpleasant legacy that their mother and grandmother was one of the last persons to continue the bigotry, while standing behind her church's discredited doctrine.

Re: “State moves to vacate conviction because of tainted State Police witness

What the hell? I thought once you found out a defendant was not guilty, you were supposed to keep him in jail for decades and fight tooth and nail to keep him from proving his innocence. I guess the law in Arkansas is different from the law in Texas.

Re: “Loose talk

For the record, Woody Hayes was fired less than 24 hours after he punched Charlie Bauman; he didn't even fly back to Columbus (from Jacksonville) with the team. His act was despicable, but OSU's response at that time was quick and appropriate. Hard to blame Gordon Gee for something that happened 35 years ago.
