Re: “Obama releases long form birth certificate

The sad thing is, I actually hoped that you all would be intelligent and civil enough to have a real discussion on the issue. It seems that you are not capable of doing this. It is a poor reflection of your beliefs that you are unable to present and discuss them logically and kindly. Instead you repeat the mantra that the issue has already been decided, and launch personal attacks on anybody who dares to disagree with you.

You may say it is I who will never be persuaded, but I presented to you the path by which I could be convinced. You, on the contrary, have never suggested a way by which you could come to accept that there is room to doubt the official story. The record is clear as to which of us is more dogmatic, and with less evidence proffered.

The fact of the matter remains that there are many, many Americans who will not be threatened or bullied into accepting decisions made by private entities or individuals, regarding their elected leaders. Until the issue is addressed in a court of law, it will not go away. An effort to smear those who insist upon legitimate procedure will not only inspire more dedicated opposition, but may also dissuade rational people who had previously accepted Obama's story from continuing to do so.

Re: “Obama releases long form birth certificate

Jake's response is typical. I didn't ask anyone to believe me. I why YOU would oppose the issue being addressed openly in a court of law. Then I stated that until a competent source of authority had issued an answer, I wouldn't be satisfied by why any private individual says. The point is that all the people presenting evidence on BOTH SIDES have a personal motive behind their actions.

I have already effectively answered your question. All I seek is a trial in court. If you are so sure that the evidence will support your beliefs, you have nothing to fear. Why not go to court? Why discredit the idea and debase those who request it? Your vehemence and vitriol suggest insecurity.

Re: “Obama releases long form birth certificate

Eukaryote, thanks for using my name. I've already indicated what would convince me. I want all the witnesses, papers, evidence, testimonies, experts, all that Obama has to offer as proof, brought into court. You are no doubt aware that many courts have rejected these cases. I want the case to be heard. I want the plaintiff to be allowed to bring witnesses, experts, and evidence. I want it all to be under oath, on the record, and cross-examined and tried. Then I want a judge to issue a ruling. And either side can appeal. I want due process. I want the laws to be followed. I want the people to be allowed to exercise their proper authority.

Theodosius:
I do not know why Obama was not disqualified during the primaries. However, absence of prior resolution cannot be used to excuse current lack of decision.

Your statements about a natural born citizen and citizen being the same are patently false. I refer you to Article II of the Constitution, which states that “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.” The placement of the word “or” between the two terms indicates that they are not the same. In fact, the framers of the Constitution intentionally wrote this clause so that they could be considered for office. The Founding Fathers were American citizens, but were not primary natural born citizens, and thus would have been ineligible to run if the requirement provided solely for natural born citizens at the time. It is clear that Obama was not a citizen at the adoption of the Constitution and is thus required to fulfill the more stringent natural born citizen requirement. The definition of this term can be determined only by the courts, through whom the people exercise their authority. Any other solution is tyranny.

I do not know about Bilderberg. I do believe that all the presidents in recent memory have been indebted to private interests not faithful to the Constitution and have at best served in only a mediocre fashion.

As to the evidence, it is natural that the standard of proof should be more for Obama than me. I wish to add my voice to the lot, as one of many millions. Obama would seek to rule over those millions. It is a mighty burden and he must prove himself worthy of it.

Re: “Obama releases long form birth certificate

Outlier, I really have to thank you for such an insightful comment. I think you probably saved me hundreds of dollars today. I just thought I'd read the news, maybe post a comment or two, and here a kindly fellow man gave me a free psych eval!! I never knew I was mentally disabled or a paranoid schizophrenic. Now that I'll know, I'll just try to forget it. It might make me act crazy, and I never believed most of the psycho-babble anyway. The illiterate bit is slightly harder to take, but I guess grandiose illusions can be symptomatic of schizos.

As crazy as I may be, according to you and those of your ilk, I cannot help but wonder why you are reduced to ad hominem attacks and labeling me, even contrary to my own assertions? Why is it that you are unwilling to address the substance of my argument. Are you, perhaps, unable?

Re: “Obama releases long form birth certificate

I do not care if you mock me. I know my rights, I cherish them, and I am immensely proud of them. It's a shame you do not recognize your own power or worth. If more people would realize their supremacy, our nation would not look the way it does. Citizens United is a shame and a blight upon America, not unlike many other recent events. None of this should be tolerated. Fortunately we have the authority, and we have the answer: protest, overt civil disobedience and peaceful strikes and demonstrations. That is not even to mention the right to vote. All that it requires is enough people with courage to act en masse. Or even one or two very brave men to act alone, and perhaps change the fate of the nation. You may call me an idealist. History has proven, however, that those who fight for freedom and call upon God's aid to do so, can overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. It's not too late for us to remind the idiots and leeches in Washington who their bosses are. I say throw the bastards out!
