Re: “Janet Huckabee in wreck UPDATE

Good point, HHW. When she got home, I'm sure Mike reminded her to stay to the far right.

Re: “The overnight line is open

After having survived (barely) 8 years with the Bushies, I thought we'd have a bit longer than 2 years of peace and progress. But all of a sudden it's "here they come again" and this time they are just as dumb (think Palin et al) and totally bat shit crazy. This may be a better time to move to Canada than the 60's, eh?

Re: “UCA: Higher education or hotel?

I think they need to hire that new Executive Chef away from Anthony School to put more gourmet items on the menu in the school cafeterias. What about room service?

Re: “We're on the downhill

I was most pleased to read in the DOG this morning that those bratty little rich kids over at the Anthony School now have an executive chef to cook up their lunches. It must be somebody's version of the American Dream.

Re: “Questions for Jim Keet

Mr. Keet has done such a good job lowering his own taxes, think of what he could do for the rest of us if he got elected!

Re: “The stupid tax

My wife and I are not gamblers, and our two kids graduated from college years ago. As a result, I haven't really read much about the new lottery. Can anyone tell me if the actual financial need of a given scholarship applicant (or in the case of a rich kid, the lack of need) was factored into the decisions as to who got money?

Re: “The right kind of sports coverage

This story has now been picked up by all of the major networks and media outlets, as well as dozens of local papers and stations around the country. Very few of the articles cast the U of A athletic department in a favorable light. The firestorm does not appear to be dying down. The university had every opportunity to make things right but has thus far failed to do so.
The ironic thing is that this all blew up over what most people would see as a trivial issue.
