Re: “NSA surveillance: not just phones

"Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss" Pete Townshend said it all. Looks like the Obama administration thinks less of citizen rights the Bush's ever did. NSA, IRS and the use of drones are just a few of what Obama has in his bag of tricks. Is this the CHANGE you voted for?

Re: “Redbone's Downtown closing (Updated)

Looks like Gus's will be coming to LR. M&S HOLDINGS OF ARKANSAS, LLC, filed as Incorporator/Organizer, along with others with the Secretary of State on 9/26/12. Also, a comment on a Nashville, TN board about Gus's opening there says one will soon be opening in LR.
I can't wait because I will no longer have to bring back Gus's when I go to Memphis for my son.

Re: “Pulaski Tech adopts admission standards

How did a student with a 13 on the ACT even get out of high school?

Re: “Is the Razorback tradition over in Little Rock?

Come Nov. 23rd how many fans will show up in Fayetteville if the Hogs are 4-7 or 3-8? How will it look on TV if 20 or 30 thousand seats are empty? Fayetteville screwed LR sometime ago and now it is time for LR to let what games remain go.

An interesting game to watch comes Nov. 8th when ASU plays Louisiana-Monroe. If the Red Wolves beat Monroe then can they claim to be the best team in the state?

Re: “Church and state and football at Cabot

"...the screen is used to run advertisements." Sounds like a bunch of pinkos posting here. These ads were paid for and I bet if President Obama ran an ad there wouldn't be a word said about it. Remember something called free speech?

Got a question for all of you. So you think a public school would run an ad recruiting students for a local private school?

Re: “Arcade project begins in River Market neighborhood

Look like Mosses Tucker ended up sleeping with the devil on this one. The devil being Buddy Roberts. He opposed earlier efforts to develop this site until he could get his say and fingers into this project. He used the excuse the other project would be too tall. When someone uses that excuse they are shoveling shit. During the day when the buildings were built in what are now historic height restricted districts in Arkansas they didn't have any restrictions. Back then they would build and then someone would come along demolish it and build something bigger or taller. It is had to make a 24/7 urban environment with three story buildings.

How about that parking deck Buddy is getting ready to build? That property would make one hell of a nice park.

Re: “President Obama wins second debate

Again Max you show your agenda driven ideas instead of the truth. First of all let let me correct you on the fact that the attack was not on the Libyan consulate but a mission. The President refers to is as a mission and so does Hillary Clinton.
As for your remark:" Romney was simply and completely wrong about what the president said..." is also incorrect according to Candy Crowley interview last night on CNN after the debate. She said the following referring to Romney's comment about what was said about the attack : "he was right in the main I just think he picked the wrong word..."
