What's cooking, April 23

The Hillcrest creperie and coffee house Lemon plans to close on May 3 after less than a year in business. Owner Brett Todd said after several months of initial good business, “the bottom dropped out” as the economy soured. Until the closing date, hours remain the same: 7 a.m. to 2:30 pm. Tuesday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Todd says she's open to offers to buy the business. “It's a turn-key operation,” she said.
