What's cooking, July 16

Za Za, the wood oven pizza and salad restaurant in the Heights, is expanding to Conway and the new planned community development, the Village at Hendrix. Co-owner John Beachboard says the concept will be similar to the original location, but with expanded offerings, like a rotating daily special and, he hopes, a full bar. The floor plan will be significantly bigger, too. He hopes to open by spring or summer of next year.

OW Pizza, 1706 W. Third, has added new menu items, including a BBQ chicken pizza, a pie covered in a tikka masala curry, calzones, lasagna, meatballs and pizza by the slice. The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. The phone number is 374-5504.
