What's cooking, July 19

MarketPlace Grill, which has a hugely popular location in Conway, recently announced that it will likely put a restaurant in the Leonard Boen-developed shopping center going up at I-430 and Colonel Glenn. That news comes in the wake of the announcement of a relationship between the Springdale-based MarketPlace Concepts and Boen’s development company. The two plan first to partner to build a MarketPlace Express, the fast version of the Grill, in Fayetteville at the corner of Joyce and Steele boulevards. That eatery should open later this year and will be the seventh for the chain.
