Re: “The crush of college debt

All of you have made some interesting comments. But my question is what about te people who went all the way through college got their degree; yet still could not get a job in the field which they studied? I know of several people this has happened to. Unless you are one of the people having to deal with then you can not have a compete undstanding of how the system is truely hurting people. There are many people today, trying to raise a family, while working 2 jobs and yet they are still attending college and keeping their grades up. Yet they can not get enough from grants/government loans to pay for their education. The only choice they have left is to take out these outragous loans. OR to settle for a low-paying job. My niece was on the Dean's list; she graduated with a high GPA, Yet she has been out of school for 2 years and is having to work for Pizza because she has not been able to find a job in her field of study.

It is easy for other's to voice their opinions about how they think things should be done or how it's the person's own fault, as a certain person has done. BUT unless you actually know the person and have walked in their shoes then you have no right to pass judgement on them.
God Bless you all.
