Re: “Circuit judge race finishes in the mud

I knew what you meant anyway, Outlier. I'm not necessarily saying that it is, but I think that is how some in the public might view it, was my point. Both of them are talking to people that are listening to their message, whether we agree with that message or not.

Re: “Circuit judge race finishes in the mud

The thing is, she’s NOT part of a family law firm that represents criminals. She is the owner of a law firm that has a vigorous criminal defense practice and a family law practice, and lawyers that work in each. Her name is on that door. Her campaign materials cite her as a small business owner that built her law firm with her husband from a single small room to three locations, and this is how she did it. Members of that firm are out campaigning for her. She is a part of everything that goes on there regardless of the kind of cases she herself prefers.

This mailer seems to be targeted to a specific audience of folks who may not like that sort of unsavory business. Just like her ads have been targeted to a specific group of folks who are scared of prosecutors. She has made it her platform to scare would be criminals that “John Hout wants to put all your children in jail.” I have only heard about this -- it’s a radio ad, and she must not be too proud of it, as it’s not posted on her FB page with all her other radio and TV ads. She has gotten votes off this kind of fear initiative, and it looks like he wants to get some votes from people who don’t want to side with a firm that specializes in criminal defense for at least half of their practice. Perhaps she should have thought of that before she made her law firm part of her campaign.

Two sides to this story no doubt. Too bad that any local race has to be run like this, but when one side attacks, I don’t know how the other side avoids responding.

Re: “LRPD explains video released under FOI

P.S. I didn't misread "Vera Arnold" though. That's how you signed off on your lawsuit against the warden in 2006. And your lawsuit against the AR State Police, in 2006, for refusing to give you a copy of an active investigation against you in 2005 for the ALLEGATION that you had attempted to hire a hit man for the prison doctor, under FOIA. You signed both of those personally, as Vera Arnold. So, I think I do win that argument.

Re: “LRPD explains video released under FOI

You got me! it was CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT THEFT BY DECEPTION, but that capital murder thingy was not conspiracy, it was SOLICITATION TO COMMIT CAPITAL MURDER (also known as hiring a hit man. Or trying to.... and still, classified under Arkansas law as a violent offense). It is now clear that, in fact, that I cannot read.

Just like I can't read your comment above about the police officers who just lied against you for no reason other than seeing an innocent, pregnant nursing student convicted. (I'm sure it didn't have anything to do with the audio recording of you trying to hire a hit man. Thank goodness for these handy audio recordings.) It is now OBVIOUS that you do not have any bias against the police and you are in fact, a dedicated truth seeker.

Thus, you clearly win the argument.

Re: “LRPD explains video released under FOI

Actually, Max posted the question as to your identity on an earlier posting, and I'm replying to it. This is why I haven't seen the videos. I'm not here to debate their content nor defend police officers. I'm pointing out your bias. Your "posted videos of actual actions by the police" is not where your bias could come into play, it's your commentary and critique and suggestions that you posted in relation to these videos (or audio, whichever it is).

Something about you saying "DUH" in an earlier comment caught my attention -- then I remembered -- you used that same exact DUH in that nasty letter you wrote at the ADC just a few short years ago that caught you that disciplinary action that then caused you to sue the warden of the McPherson Unit. You like to sue, you always have, and you enjoy acting as your own lawyer. These are facts, not a personal attack.

Also, murder qualifies as a violent offense under state law, and conspiracy to commit it also qualifies as a violent offense. After extended litigation in which you tried to get your criminal records sealed, I'm sure you are also well aware of this.

A check of the AR Supreme Court database and the Pulaski County Circuit Clerk's database has all this information and much, much more. It is, as I said earlier, very interesting reading if a person has the time.

Good luck on your (most recent) appeal.

Re: “LRPD explains video released under FOI

"I believe in playing fair. I am not trying to make false accusations, merely seeking the truth." -- Wonderful!

First of all, I'm not a police officer, and i haven't seen any of these videos, nor the YouTube or comments you are referencing. I think threats of any nature are very inappropriate.

What exactly, was untrue about anything that I have said? And where is this "personal attack" you speak of?

At least as recently as 2011, you have been involved in litigation with various police agencies. You are a convicted felon. At least one of those convictions is for a violent felony. This is the truth. And, it is something to consider when you start voicing your numerous opinions. That's my point. You have a first amendment right of expression, I can then exercise my own first amendment right to question your bias. That is all.

Good luck with the toilet.

Re: “LRPD explains video released under FOI

I agree, as a community we are much better off with Ms. Entrap firing off her FOIAs than with her soliciting a hit man to solve her problems.
