Re: “David's Burgers gives best bang for the buck

"These burgers remind me of good cook-out burgers..."

Yeah, except they're not grilled.

Re: “Driver charged with murder after chasing down and hitting wallet thief

Shouldn't a 14-year-old kid be in school at 11:30 a.m. on a Thursday?

Re: “The Clinton Bridge opens

Does it really "close the gap" on the River Trail? How about the several miles of patchworked urban and confusing "trail" in between the Medical Mile and Rebsamen? Making that stretch accessible, understandable and safer would be considered "closing the gap," in my opinion.

For now, this is just another decent bridge that happens to cross the river (to an RV park, of all things). Progress, for sure, but not the final straw.

Re: “Increase the severance tax

Yeah, Arkansas is a joke in the natural gas industry in regards to how we rolled over/turned a blind eye/gave free reign to these companies from the get-go. It was like the wild west there for a few years in the beginning, which is when our state officials should have been paying the most attention. Beebe was thought of as a hero for getting a severance tax passed three years ago. It's all about the show.

Think about the hundreds of millions we've lost, and will continue to lose, especially once we're cleaning up and repairing that amusement park.

Re: “Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker and Justin Moore pull out all the stops at Verizon

Not that I'm a big fan of country music, or a fan at all, really, but it's good to see this reviewer didn't write that Paisley could go the rock & roll route and be on par with guitar legends like Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton.

I'm lookin' at you D-G.

That's just ludicrous.

Re: “Explosive news

Yay! A fear campaign just before the election. That never happens.
