You're right. Some kids from the system are difficult and if you read the whole article, you'd know that it was made abundantly clear to the Harrises that this was the case. In fact, they were denied adoption of the kids because of the extenuating circumstances.

If you'd read the article, you'd caught the part where Rep Harris threatened to withhold funding and budgets if he wasn't given the children.

What the Harrises lacked wasn't a simple misunderstanding. What the Harrises lack is the common decency to recognize children as individual humans and that they're not magically above common decency because they call themselves Christians.

What they did is about as un-Christian as it can get.
