Re: “Rutledge again rejects ethics amendment; sponsor says he'll have to sue to petition

The only way you are going to get an Ethics Amendment certified is if you add language which allows the GOP to continue being mean to Gay Folks, women, minorities, Trans people, Veterans, and to abuse children. Oh, and don't forget to also include the total destruction of Little Rock schools.

Re: “Connecting the political dots in Wes Clark's proposed Pine Bluff fuel facility

Wow, do you mean to tell me that well connected, experienced and wealthy folks are involved in a 3 Billion dollar plan for a gas conversion plant? Furthermore, that some of these people actually belong to different political parties? Jesus, I bet a lot of them went to college and eat Hershey Bars as well. I know I can't wait for the next shoe to drop on this column in search of a scandal. God forbid these horrible people actually bring capital investment and jobs to Jefferson County citizens before they get a chance to buy bus tickets and luggage from a politically correct manufacturer. As a left leaning Democrat and a friend, I find this type of reporting (sic) just as silly when you do it as I do when Sean Hannity does it.

Re: “Tamales: Great food, or greatest food?

McClard's tamales really belong in their own category as they are nothing like any of the other tamales in the state. It's a totally different taste experience than the other places in this article. For those of us lucky enough to have been raised on them, no other tamale comes close. However, since buying a home in the Heights, we tried Heights Taco and Tamale the other day and I have to say, although different from McClard's, they are simply divine. Much better than Doe's and dare I say it, La Hacienda. Sorry Luis, but they got you beat. But La Hacienda still owns the frijoles crown and always will.

Re: “State rep candidate Clarke Tucker: opposition research regarding his 4-year-old son's application to pre-k by Stacy Hurst is "completely unacceptable"

At least it will be easy for me to spot Ms. Hurst at a cocktail party now. She will be the one everybody's calling a Bitch.

Re: “The unabridged Sen. Jason Rapert

My favorite part was where Rapert cited Paul Greenberg for taking up for him against his critics. I guess now that WWII is over, Greenberg's time is no longer tied up with defending the Vichy Government.

Re: “Statement from Rhonda Wood appears to violate judicial rules

I respect the passion of Matt Campbell, but you can't open the door and then bitch because one of the Judges whose door you opened, answered your damn knock. Besides, is this really the way we want to oppose Conservative or for that matter, Liberal Judges in Arkansas?

Re: “Tom Cotton opines on the weaker, and he does mean weaker, sex

Obvious case of projection, Cotton no doubts believes he needs a man to be complete in his own pathetic life. Good luck with that as I imagine the only demographic more disgusted with Cotton than women surely must be gay men.
