Re: “Roy Moore's nostalgia for antebellum America

So he's responding to an African American, most likely a descendant of slaves, about families being more united when there was slavery.
"Yeah, remember when my great grandfather sold your great grandmother away from your great grandfather, then sold their kids away? Oh, and then beat your great grandfather nearly to death when he protested? Good times, good times."

Re: “An Arkansan sees Sarah. Detects True Grit.

I suppose one could parse her declaration as saying "I can definitely say"= "I definitely possess the physical ability to say this (but it's a lie)", but I will continue to believe she is as shameless about lying as her father was about accepting suits from Jennings Osborne.

Not meaning to be argumentative, but what will make it cross the line for you? "I can definitely say that the president is not a liar" is pretty straightforward.

Re: “An Arkansan sees Sarah. Detects True Grit.

Plainjim, I think what she does goes beyond obfuscation. She lies. A blatant example... It is an incontrovertible fact that Trump's lying is rampant, perhaps pathological. Sweet Sarah stated: "I can definitively say the president is not a liar. Its frankly insulting that the question would be asked." She gave a clear no when asked if he had ever promoted violence, when many examples prove her wrong. She has joined the family grifting business.

Re: “'Dumber than a box of hammers': Leslie Rutledge roasted again for CNN time

If only her evil overlord would give her a pity grope, maybe she'd be satisfied and slink out of view.

Re: “The Thursday line and video

Couple of twitter accounts to add a little levity. @spicergoogling gives a look at what the press secretary might be secretly googling. @donaeldunready is good, especially if you like English history.

Re: “King Day open line, plus a news roundup

I've not seen this comment on Trump's "shortcomings" except on Betty Bowers' twitter feed. Anyone seen it elsewhere?
